Terms of use
Reading this site means accepting these terms. They are short because the site does very little.
What this site is
Tarvolo publishes arithmetic. Each post takes one transaction, applies published rates from primary sources, and states the resulting cost. The output is an estimate of what a bill looks like, calculated from public numbers, with the date those numbers were checked printed on the page.
What it is not
Not legal, tax, accounting, or customs advice, and not a brokerage, freight forwarder, or financial adviser. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, import, export, register, or file anything. Tariff classification and customs entry are regulated activities; getting them wrong is expensive. For anything that ends up on a customs declaration or a tax return, use a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
Accuracy
Rates in this category move by executive order, by fee-schedule revision, and by court ruling. Every figure carries the date it was checked, and a figure whose date has passed may no longer be true. The site is offered as it is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and no undertaking that any page reflects the rule in force on the day you read it.
Where a source publishes no figure, the post says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate. Where an estimate is used, for example a token count or an exchange-rate conversion, it is labelled as an estimate and the assumption is written out so you can substitute your own.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here — including duties assessed, penalties incurred, margin lost, or a supplier chosen on the strength of a comparison table. If you need a number you can defend to a customs authority or a tax office, obtain it from that authority or from a licensed broker.
Copyright
The text and layout on this site belong to its operator. Short quotation with a link back is welcome, including in forum posts and newsletters. Republishing an article in full, or reproducing a table without attribution, is not.
Third-party documents quoted or linked here — Federal Register notices, CBP guidance, vendor pricing pages — remain the property of their publishers. Trademarks named on this site belong to their owners; naming a product is not a claim of affiliation.
Affiliate disclosure
As of November 4, 2026 this site carries no affiliate links and no sponsored content. If that changes, the disclosure appears at the top of the post it applies to, above the first affected link, and never only in the footer. A commercial relationship never changes a number in a table: figures come from the source, not from the party paying.
Availability
The site may be changed, moved, or taken down without notice. Posts are corrected in place when a source changes, and a correction may replace the original figure rather than annotate it.

Links to other sites are provided as citations. Their content, availability, and terms are their own.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the site's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute falls to the courts of that country. If any provision here is unenforceable, the rest stands.
